My home town is Gunma Japan. It's takes two hours by train from Tokyo. I have lived in Gunma since I was born. So, I'm going to desribe Gunma.

Most Japanese don't know any derails about Gunma because it lacks a certain appeal. But there are lots of wonderful things in Gunma. Above all, the hot spring of Gunma is famous in the country. Kusatsu Onsen is one of the unique representative hot springs of Gunma. It's expressed in the Jomo Karuta with "The hot springs of Kusatsu, curative for your ills." Hot springs enthusiasts gather there from all over the country. The outskirts smell of sulfur, which is not uery appealing.
Gunma prospered in the old days as textile town. They maruta ct used woven textiles that are widely used in the production of Kimono and Obi sashes. The textiles create a rhythmic sound are woven uhich is very beautiful. Kiryu-ori is designated as one of Japan's Traditional crafts. The rooves of the factories are fromed in a mysterious shape called a "saw tooth roof". After the factories are closed down people redecorate the shops, tomaintain their history.
There is a lot of beautiful nature in Gunma. The scenery, the green mountains, and bright flowers change every season. The scenery imporesses people, And the nature is substantial. We can feel the splendor of the nature from paragliding , rafting, canoeing, and snow shoeing. In addition, the smell of fragrat cedar, mattake mushroom, Japanese pepper, skunk cabbage, and the azalea creatly good fragrance. It's a wonderful place that pecrele can enjoy.
